FREE LOOM! Ellen Derr, ederr29@yahoo.com, has a floor loom that she purchased from a friend and never used. She is moving and it will not fit into her new home. The model number of the loom is ORCO LOOM Model 74. If this something someone in the Guild could use she would happy to give it away for free. It would need to be picked up as she cannot deliver it. Here are 3 pictures and measurements of the loom. Ellen’s last day in her apartment is June 30th. She lives on the second floor so moving this will take some maneuvering.

I am looking to rehome a large (40″ width) Ashford tapestry loom that is in excellent condition. A weaving friend moved far away and could not take it with her, and I have accepted that I am not going to learn tapestry work! I wondered if any guild members might like it? As a gift? I have the original instructions and Nancy Harvey’s Tapestry Weaving to go with the frame itself. If anyone is interested in seeing it, I’m happy to answer email or have them stop by (I live in Lemont)

1. The Louet S10 at Scraps and Skeins was $495 but they reduced it to $350. It has 4 bobbins and a couple of other little things with it, I think some carders maybe. You can see it on their Facebook page. They said it works.

She is in State College and has 2 LeClerc looms to sell.  

The 2 LeClerc looms are ready for warps. 

1 bench, cotton rug warp, manuals. In State College.  $2,000 for all 3

She is getting ready to relocate and would like to sell the looms and would consider separate prices for each.
And lots of spools of cotton rug warp.

Seller is asking $900 for both, but will sell separately — $500 for the tan one and $400 for the darker one

The tan one is a Leclerc, 4 harness jack-type loom, 36 inches wide

The darker one is a Leclerc 4 harness counter-balance loom, 36 inches wide, It needs a new front apron

Also, there are manuals for the looms and some rug warp

5. Purrington Loom for Sale for $500. It needs some TLC

The beater is a bit warped and the jacks for the 3rd and 4th harness move off the track. Purrington is still in business so it would be possible to repair.
